Course Objectives | Effective Leadership Practices is an advanced elective designed to provide students exposure to leadership topics that are not covered in detail in your previous courses, along with an opportunity for in depth investigation of several topics determined by the instructor. |

Course Description | The purpose of this course is to teach students about the various ways to demonstrate leadership effectively in health institutions. Traditional approaches will be highlighted, as well as more emerging approaches, such as transformational and value-based leadership. Moreover, leadership will be considered in a global health context. |
